Troy Rossignol comes to the Horse Racing Appeal Panel with valuable experience in both horse racing and adjudication. He has held standardbred licenses as an owner, trainer, and driver, and was an elected Director of both the Northern Horseman’s Association and the Ontario Harness Horseman’s Association. In 1998, he was appointed by the Ontario Racing Commission (“ORC”) as a member of the Industry Review Board and later served the ORC as a part-time Judge. Since 2018, Mr. Rossignol has been employed by the Ministry of the Attorney General, where he has gained extensive adjudication experience. He has held the position of Vice-Chair with the Landlord and Tenant Board since 2021. Mr. Rossignol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Justice from Laurentian University and joins the Horse Racing Appeal Panel as a part-time Member.
