Dr. Bernd Kretzschmar

Dr. Bernd Kretzschmar served as a part-time Member of the Horse Racing Appeal Panel from 2017 to 2019. Dr. Kretzschmar brought experience as a Veterinarian for race and performance horses with advanced veterinary training in Equine Surgery. Dr. Kretzschmar was involved in breeding and raising Standardbred race horses. He has been the owner and surgeon of an Equine Hospital and served as the President of the Ontario Association of Equine Practitioners. He attended Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph and Atlantic Veterinary College, Prince Edward Island.
