Mr. John Charalambous has been a trainer of thoroughbred racehorses since 1982. Based out of Woodbine, Mr. Charalambous has developed many Stakes winners. In addition to his responsibilities as a trainer, Mr. Charalambous volunteered his time as a Director of The Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association of Ontario (HPBA). During that period, Mr. Charalambous deepened his understanding of the needs of horse people and the management and regulatory approaches within the industry. Mr. Charalambous currently works as a member of the Planning, Nomination, Election and Legend Committee for the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame. He joins the Horse Racing Appeal Panel as a part-time Member.
